The December meeting of the WFGS will be "Christmas for the Society."  We will have a money tree and collect money for the purchase of books or other items for the West Florida Genealogy Library.  We will also accept donations of books and other items that the library needs.  This will give you the opportunity to request certain books, maps, newspapers, etc., for the library that would benefit you and your places of research.  Contributions are tax deductible.  Shirley Jones, President, will be presenting "The State of the Society" on the accomplishments of the society over the past year.  In addition, officers for 2018 will be elected during the business portion of the meeting.  Members and guests are welcome.  Refreshments are available at 9:45.  Meeting begins at 10:00.
