Free Online Books for Family History Research

Family stories, regional histories, and biographies can be downloaded and read for free, and they may contain information about your ancestors. October’s West Florida Genealogical Society meeting will hold the key to finding these oft-missed gems.
West Florida Genealogy Branch Library Manager Karen Cook will share tips for finding and using these “lost” books for your family history research. The meeting will also include information about the West Florida Library System’s new status as a FamilySearch Affiliate Library, which opens up many resources unavailable to FamilySearch users at home.
