WFGS is planning our first virtual meeting/webinar of the New Year on 2 January 2021 at 10 AM CDT. 

Our speaker will be Mike Taranto of the West Florida Genealogy Library, he will be speaking on new databases the library has acquired.

New Resources for the Library; ProQuest Historical and ProQuest Resent Newspapers - U.S. Southeast Collection.

Kristina Clever, our new president, will be running the meeting.

The meeting of the society will be via GoToWebinar, a meeting platform that will allow us to meet virtually. You must pre-register to attend.  Look for the email sent December 25, 2020 from the WFGS Secretary for the link. If you have not received the email, please contact an officer, the webmaster, or a fellow member to have the email forwarded to you.

After registering,you will receive a confirmation email containing an “invitation” and information/link for joining the virtual meeting/webinar. About 10 minutes before our meeting click on the invitation link. We will join you at the time of the meeting and will then proceed with our scheduled presentation.
