Join historians at St. Michael's cemetery on June 2 for a workshop on restoring old cemeteries. The workshop is part of a national effort by the 48 State Tour to restore America's cemeteries. The group embarked on a mission in 2020 to conduct 48 gravestone preservation workshops in 48 states in 48 days. Led by Jonathan Appell, they traveled the country teaching how to clean, repair and reset gravestones and monuments with great success, leading them to expand their efforts in later years.
