WFGS members over the years have produced a wealth of records from the West Florida area, including transcriptions, cemetery readings, and indexes.
A paid membership allows you access to all of the Society's digital holdings.
Members are given discounted admission to our annual conferences, and free listing in our Speakers' Bureau to express availability for speaking engagements.
Publications
Footprints is the yearly journal of the West Florida Genealogical Society. Volumes 1 (1984) through 40 (2019) are available to the public; paid membership is required to access more recent editions.
The monthly WFGS newsletter contains meeting updates, a list of upcoming webinars from around the country, new resources, local history tidbits, and tips and tricks of the trade. These are kept "members-only" for members' privacy.

WFGS is an organization of people passionate about genealogy, proud of our regional history, and eager to bring the joy of these pursuits to younger generations. We'd love to help you in your genealogy journey, by sharing our expertise and research.
Membership comes with are volunteer opportunities such as assisting new genealogists with research, participating in educational and community events, and serving the Society as an officer, committee chair, or Board member.
