From the Maryland State Archives via the Kentucky Genealogical Society Facebook Page: CBS Saturday morning recently highlighted the efforts of a team of forensic genealogists working to identify a group of Maryland soldiers killed at the Battle of Camden, South Carolina, in 1780, 245 years ago. The men were buried in unmarked graves and they are known only as unknown soldiers. The team at the Rev War Forensic Institute (https://fhdforensics.com/camden-burials-identifications/ ) has been building DNA profiles and family trees in hopes of identifying these heroes and are currently focused on families with roots in Anne Arundel County. Watch to learn more and how you can help!
